Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You must either be healthy (no known liver disease), have type 2 diabetes with moderate to severe liver scarring, or have a diagnosis of cirrhosis (any stage).
  • You cannot have an active cancer or an infection in the last 2 weeks.
  • You cannot have had a blood transfusion in the last month.
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You cannot be currently in another treatment trial or have been in one in the last 3 months.
