Who can take part
- You are between 50 and 80 years old (or up to 85 for part of the trial)
- You have wet macular degeneration with active fluid or bleeding in the eye
- You have not had treatment before, or if you had anti-VEGF injections, they stopped more than 3 months ago and your eye still has fluid
- Your vision in the study eye is between 20/32 and 20/400 (moderate to severe vision loss)
- You do not have other conditions that caused the abnormal blood vessels in your eye
