- You are having colorectal or weight-loss surgery that is not usually done as a same-day procedure at Nantes University Hospital.
- You are expected to go home within 24 hours after surgery, or have a higher risk of needing to return to the hospital.

- You are not being discharged to a rehab center, not under home hospital care, not homeless, not pregnant or breastfeeding, and not at risk of harming yourself or others.
- You are not under legal guardianship or conservatorship.
