Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have had type 2 diabetes for at least 6 months.
- Your HbA1c (average blood sugar over 3 months) is between 7% and 10%.
- You are on a stable dose of metformin (at least 1000 mg per day) or just diet and exercise.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 25 and 40 kg/m2.
- You haven't used insulin or other diabetes pills (besides metformin) recently, and no GLP-1 medications in the last 3 months.
