Who can take part
- Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease by a movement disorder specialist
- Have mild to moderate Parkinson's (Hoehn and Yahr stages II or III)
- Have trouble starting to walk (self-reported on the freezing of gait questionnaire)
- Have taken Parkinson's medication (dopaminergic) in the past month
- Score at least 23 out of 30 on a thinking and memory test (Montreal Cognitive Assessment)
- No medical reasons that would make brain stimulation unsafe, like certain metal implants or epilepsy
