Learning walking movements in Parkinson's disease

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (idiopathic type).
  • You do not experience freezing of gait (when your feet feel stuck to the floor).
  • You can walk on your own for 30 minutes without a cane or walker.
  • You do not have any other brain or nerve condition (like a stroke or Alzheimer's).
  • You have not used a split-belt treadmill before, and you do not have a deep brain stimulator.
