Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have been diagnosed with classic follicular lymphoma (a slow-growing blood cancer) that has not been treated before (except minor surgery or radiation for a small area)
- Your lymphoma is stage III or IV (spread beyond one area) but with a low 'tumor burden' (not causing serious symptoms or large masses)
- You have at least one enlarged lymph node or tumor that can be measured on scans
- Your blood counts (red cells, white cells, platelets) are within required ranges without recent transfusions or growth factors
- You are able to get up and do light activities (ECOG score 0-2)
