Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the head of the pancreas that is causing a blockage in the bile duct (the tube that carries bile from the liver to the intestine).
- The cancer has spread to the liver, but there are no more than 5 small spots (each less than 1 cm) in the liver, and no cancer has spread anywhere else.
- You are currently receiving chemotherapy to manage your symptoms and slow the cancer down.
- You are between 18 and 85 years old, and your general health allows you to be up and about (WHO performance status 0-2).
- You do not have serious infections, bleeding problems, or other conditions that would make the procedure unsafe.
