- Your baby must be about 6 months old (within 3 weeks of their 6-month birthday).
- Your baby must have been diagnosed with Down syndrome (Trisomy 21).
- You must have health insurance (social security) and agree to the study.
- Your baby cannot have mosaic Down syndrome (a less common type).
- Your baby must not have been born early (before 37 weeks of pregnancy).
- Your baby cannot already be using a CPAP machine for sleep apnea.
