Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with muscle-invasive bladder cancer (stage cT2) that is the urothelial type.
- You have not received radiation therapy to your pelvic area.
- You have not had any previous open or laparoscopic surgery in your pelvis.
- You are able to receive a chemotherapy drug called cisplatin.
- You are willing and able to have a radical cystectomy (surgery to remove the bladder).
- You have no medical reasons that prevent you from having an MRI scan.
