Prostate Cancer

Part of Cancer, Kidney & urinary clinical trials.

This study collects data on men with early, low-risk prostate cancer who choose to have a targeted ultrasound treatment called HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound). It looks at how well this treatment works and how men recover.

Detecting prostate cancer return after HIFU with advanced scans

This trial uses a special PET/MRI scan to check if prostate cancer has come back after high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) treatment. It aims to find any remaining cancer early so doctors can plan next steps.

HIFU experience study for treating parts of the prostate

This observational study looks at outcomes after people choose HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) to treat only a targeted area of the prostate. It may help doctors better understand how well HIFU works and what follow-up imaging or testing shows over time.

HIFU treatment for early prostate cancer

This trial studies a focused ultrasound treatment called HIFU for prostate cancer that appears limited to the early stages. It aims to treat cancer within the prostate while avoiding treatment spread to lymph nodes or distant organs.

Active surveillance with focused ultrasound for prostate cancer

This trial studies whether a high-intensity focused ultrasound treatment can help people with localized prostate cancer while still avoiding traditional full-dose treatment for some patients. It may be an option for certain intermediate-risk cases where the cancer is confined to the prostate.

Focal HIFU versus prostate surgery: cost and quality of life

This trial compares focal HIFU (a targeted heating treatment inside the prostate) with prostate surgery, looking at overall cost and quality of life. It may help people with certain early, limited prostate cancers understand which option fits best for them.

Comparing quality of life after prostate removal vs. focal HIFU for prostate cancer

This study compares how two treatments—total prostate removal or focal HIFU (a targeted ultrasound therapy)—affect quality of life in men with favorable intermediate-risk prostate cancer who are sexually active. It aims to help patients choose the best option for their lifestyle.
