Who can take part
- You are age 55–80
- Your doctor expects you to live more than 10 years
- Your cancer tests suggest it is localized in the prostate (not spread to lymph nodes or bones)
- Your PSA blood test is under 15 (if over 15, it may be treated with extra caution depending on age)
- Your prostate biopsy/MRI does not suggest higher-risk spread outside the prostate (no concerning extensions)
- You have not had prior prostate cancer treatment, hormone therapy in the last 6 months, pelvic radiation, or have a recent urine infection
