Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with dementia (any type or stage).
  • You do not have a history of epilepsy.
  • You do not have end-stage liver or kidney disease, or a brain tumor.
  • You have not had a heart attack, stroke, or unstable angina in the past 3 months, and you do not use a pacemaker.
  • You are not currently receiving acupuncture or traditional Chinese medicine.
  • You do not have an acute illness, abnormal blood pressure, fever, or a malignant tumor.
