Lung fluid study for interstitial lung disease diagnosis

Interstitial Lung Diseases

Part of Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This study uses a lung wash (bronchoalveolar lavage) to look at the types of immune cells in the lungs of people with certain lung scarring diseases called interstitial lung diseases (ILD). It may help doctors better understand different ILD types and guide treatment.

Advanced CT scan to check heart and lung health in lung disease

This study uses a special high-resolution CT scan to look at heart and lung problems in people with a type of lung disease that gets worse over time. It may help doctors understand how the heart is affected and guide better care.

NCT07627594Not yet recruiting
Safety of bronchoscopy in interstitial lung disease patients

This study watches to see if a lung procedure called bronchoscopy is safe for people with interstitial lung disease (a condition where lung tissue becomes scarred or inflamed). Researchers will track how patients do during and after the procedure.

NCT06987266Recruiting
Study of lung and airway disease diagnosis

This study aims to improve how doctors diagnose and classify lung conditions that affect both the air sacs and airways, such as COPD and pulmonary fibrosis. By participating, you may help advance medical knowledge and better understand your own condition.

Streamlining the diagnosis of interstitial lung disease

This study is testing a new way to speed up the diagnosis of interstitial lung disease (a group of lung scarring conditions). If you have symptoms or scan findings that suggest ILD but haven't been fully diagnosed yet, this trial may help you get a faster, clearer answer.

Granollers, Barcelona
NCT06645977Recruiting
Study for patients with interstitial lung disease

This trial is for adults with interstitial lung disease (a group of lung conditions that cause scarring). It aims to understand the disease better and may help find new ways to treat it.

NCT07305220Not yet recruiting
Safety of ultrasound-guided lung biopsy for ILD patients

This trial checks how safe a lung biopsy (a small sample taken with a needle) is for people with interstitial lung disease, a condition that causes scarring in the lungs. The goal is to see if the biopsy can be done with fewer risks when guided by ultrasound.
