Methotrexate gel vs. methotrexate iontophoresis for vitiligo

Vitiligo - Evaluation of Methotrexate Iontophoresis and Topical Methotrexate Gel as Localized Treatment Approache

Part of Skin clinical trials.

This study tests two ways of delivering methotrexate to help restore color in vitiligo patches: one uses a special gel, the other uses a mild electrical current (iontophoresis) to push the medicine into the skin. It might help if your vitiligo has been stable for at least 6 months and you haven't used other treatments recently.

Laser with methotrexate cream for vitiligo

This trial tests whether applying a methotrexate lotion after a special laser treatment (fractional CO2 laser) can help repigment vitiligo patches better than the lotion alone. The laser makes tiny holes in the skin so the medicine may absorb more deeply.

NCT07459933Not yet recruiting· Phase 4
Methotrexate cream vs minoxidil for patchy hair loss

This study tests if a cream containing methotrexate (a medicine that affects the immune system) can help regrow hair in people with mild alopecia areata (patchy hair loss on the scalp). It compares the methotrexate cream to a standard treatment cream (minoxidil) to see which works better.

NCT07352917Recruiting· Phase 2
Methotrexate for severe vulvar lichen sclerosus

This study tests the drug methotrexate as a treatment for severe vulvar lichen sclerosus that has not responded to strong steroid creams. It aims to see if methotrexate can reduce symptoms and prevent further scarring.

Secretome gel plus light therapy for stable vitiligo

This trial tests a new gel made from stem-cell substances (secretome) given with narrow-band UVB light therapy for stable non-segmental vitiligo. It compares two ways of applying the gel to see which works better.

Melanotan II plus light therapy for vitiligo repigmentation

This trial tests whether adding a daily nasal spray (Melanotan II) to light therapy helps restore color in stable vitiligo patches. It may be a good option for adults with mild to moderate nonsegmental vitiligo that hasn't changed in at least 6 months.

Light therapy and methotrexate for psoriasis

This study tests whether combining narrowband UVB light therapy with methotrexate helps treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. It looks at a blood marker called gelsolin to see if treatment reduces inflammation.
