Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old
  • You exercise at least once a week
  • You are either a healthy adult or have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for more than 18 months
  • If you have type 1 diabetes, you must be able to recognize the signs of low blood sugar
  • You do not have any heart, kidney, liver, or inflammatory diseases
  • You are not pregnant, do not have an eating disorder, and do not have any condition that would make exercise unsafe
