Dihydroberberine for blood sugar, appetite, and mood in prediabetes

Who can take part

  • You are between 35 and 65 years old.
  • Your BMI is between 25 and 35 (overweight to moderately obese).
  • Your HbA1c (average blood sugar over 3 months) is between 5.7% and 6.4% (prediabetes).
  • You do not currently take prescription diabetes medication and have not for at least 6 months.
  • You are willing to wear a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) on your arm and use a smartphone app to track your diet and blood sugar.
  • You have not smoked or used nicotine products in the last year, and do not plan to start.
