FebriDx test for fever and cold symptoms in children

Who can take part

  • Child must have a fever of 100.4°F or higher that started in the last 3 days.
  • Child must have at least one cold or flu symptom (like runny nose, cough, sore throat) that started in the last 7 days.
  • Parent or guardian must sign a consent form, and kids ages 7-11 must agree to join.
  • Child must not have taken antibiotics or antiviral medicines in the last 2 weeks.
  • Child must not have a weakened immune system or take medicines that weaken the immune system.
