Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) and are scheduled for cardioversion (a procedure to reset your heart rhythm).
- You are 18 years or older.
- You can provide written consent in English.
- You do not have a pacemaker.
- You have no speech or voice problems (like trouble finding words or vocal cord issues).
- You do not have atrial flutter (a different type of irregular heartbeat) or need a special heart ultrasound (TEE) with your procedure.
