Who can take part
- You have pancreatic cancer that has spread beyond the pancreas (metastatic).
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are able to perform daily activities with minimal help (ECOG score of 0 or 1).
- Your blood counts and liver/kidney function are within required limits.
- You have not had chemotherapy for this cancer before, though you may have had gemcitabine-based treatment at least 6 months ago.
- You are willing to receive vaccinations against certain bacteria (meningitis and pneumonia).
