Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 56 years old and pregnant.
- Your baby is due in at least 37 weeks or more.
- You are carrying only one baby, and the baby is head-down (cephalic presentation).
- Your cervix is unripe (Bishop score of 6 or less), meaning it is not yet soft or open enough to start labor on its own.
- You have not had a previous C-section or any uterine scar.
- You do not have active infections like HIV, hepatitis B, or C, and no vaginal or uterine infection.
