Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 20 and 40
- You will receive opioid pain medicine (like morphine) after surgery for breakthrough pain
- You are classified as ASA physical status I, II, or III (generally healthy to having mild or moderate health problems)
- You understand and speak English well enough to follow the instructions
