A monitor to detect breathing problems after surgery

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 20 and 40
  • You will receive opioid pain medicine (like morphine) after surgery for breakthrough pain
  • You are classified as ASA physical status I, II, or III (generally healthy to having mild or moderate health problems)
  • You understand and speak English well enough to follow the instructions
