Who can take part

  • You must have had a standard 12-lead ECG (a heart tracing) in the last year.
  • You cannot have sick sinus syndrome (a condition where the heart's natural pacemaker doesn't work right).
  • You cannot have a high-grade or complete heart block (a severe electrical blockage in the heart).
  • You cannot have a history of ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation (dangerously fast heart rhythms).
  • You cannot already have a pacemaker or implantable defibrillator (a heart device).
  • Your resting heart rate on the ECG must be 40 beats per minute or higher.
