Who can take part

  • You are 65 years or older and live at Jefferson's Ferry Independent Living.
  • You are interested in trying an ankle-worn device.
  • You can walk and stand on your own without help, and can feel a vibration on your ankle.
  • You do not have a brain or nerve disease like Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, or ALS.
  • Your legs and feet are free of open sores, rashes, or infections.
  • You are not taking blood thinners other than aspirin.
