Who can take part

  • You must have stage 4 colorectal cancer that has spread to other parts of your body and is confirmed by a biopsy.
  • You should not have had any previous treatment (like chemotherapy) for the cancer that has spread.
  • Your health status should allow you to be up and active (ECOG score 0 or 1) — meaning you can do most daily activities without help.
  • You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan (like a CT scan).
  • Your liver, kidney, and bone marrow function must be adequate (normal lab results).
  • You cannot have certain genetic types of colorectal cancer (BRAF V600E mutation or MSI-high/dMMR), active brain metastases, serious bleeding or lung problems, recent major surgery, or uncontrolled autoimmune or heart disease.
