Who can take part

  • You or your child must be at least 1 year old and up to 75 years old.
  • The cancer must be confirmed as osteosarcoma (a type of bone cancer).
  • You must have had treatment with a type of chemotherapy called anthracycline, or be unable to receive it.
  • Your cancer must have grown or spread within the last 6 months, or you must have new tumors visible on scans.
  • You must stop most other cancer treatments at least 7 days before starting the trial (some need longer breaks).
  • Your organs (kidney, liver, lungs, heart) and blood cell counts must be working well enough as shown by tests.
