Who can take part

  • Be between 7 and 85 years old (if you have type 1 diabetes) or between 18 and 85 years old (if you have type 2 diabetes).
  • Have had type 1 diabetes for at least 6 months, or type 2 diabetes requiring insulin for at least 1 year.
  • Be willing to wear the pump system continuously and upload its data using an app or computer.
  • Have had a recent eye exam (as described) to check for diabetes-related eye issues.
  • Be able to read English or Spanish, and be willing to give consent to participate.
  • Be ready to use one of the specific rapid-acting insulins listed (like Humalog or Novolog).
