Testing a new insulin pump for adults with type 1 diabetes

This study tests a new automated insulin pump system (NMX8) for adults with type 1 diabetes whose blood sugar is not well controlled (HbA1c above 7.5%). You must already be using a similar pump system. The goal is to see if this new device can help you get better control.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had type 1 diabetes for at least 6 months.
  • You are currently using an approved automated insulin pump system (like MiniMed 780G, Control IQ, Omnipod 5, or CamAPS FX) for at least 3 months.
  • Your average blood sugar (HbA1c) is above 7.5%, meaning your diabetes is not as well controlled as it could be.
  • You use between 6 and 250 units of insulin per day.
  • You are willing to switch to a new insulin pump and follow all training sessions.
