Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 75 years old (or older than 75 but very healthy and active).
  • You have been diagnosed with myelofibrosis or an MDS/MPN overlap syndrome.
  • You are willing to take ruxolitinib (a JAK inhibitor) for at least 8 weeks before transplant and continue for 12 months after.
  • You have a suitable stem cell donor (a matched sibling or matched unrelated donor).
  • Your heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver are working well enough for transplant.
  • You have not had a prior stem cell transplant and do not have active infections or other cancers.
