Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have severe obesity (BMI over 40) or obesity with a BMI over 35 plus related health problems like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or sleep apnea.
  • You are already scheduled for bariatric surgery.
  • You do not have vision problems that would make using virtual reality difficult.
  • You have no past history of a stroke or other brain blood vessel event.
  • You do not have a drug addiction.
