Who can take part
- You are 60 years of age or older.
- An MRI has shown you have small vessel disease in your brain.
- You are scheduled for surgery that is not on the heart or brain and will be under general anesthesia.
- You have not taken any medication to improve memory or thinking in the last 3 months.
- You are able to tolerate wearing a VR headset (no severe dizziness or nausea).
- You do not have a pacemaker or other metal implants that would prevent an MRI.
