Who can take part

  • You are obese, with a BMI over 30.
  • Your iron levels are low (blood tests show low ferritin and transferrin saturation).
  • Your hemoglobin is between 10-14 g/dL for men or 10-13 g/dL for women.
  • You haven't had an iron infusion in the last 3 months.
  • You don't have severe allergies to iron supplements, active infections, liver or kidney problems, or other serious health conditions.
