Who can take part

  • Are a woman who has given birth to at least one child
  • Have been diagnosed with a condition called diastasis recti (a separation of the belly muscles after pregnancy)
  • Gave birth to a single baby (not twins or more) through a breech or instrument-assisted vaginal delivery (like forceps or vacuum)
  • Are not currently pregnant
  • Do not have a hernia, serious muscle or bone problem, or a history of abdominal or pelvic surgery
  • Do not have a slipped disc in your spine
