Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have stage IA non-small cell lung cancer (a small tumor, 3 cm or smaller).
  • You are scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor (like segmentectomy, lobectomy, or a special bronchoscopic procedure).
  • You can commit to follow-up visits for up to 2 years after the procedure.
  • You have no other active cancers that could interfere with the study.
