- Your baby is very preterm (born before 30 weeks and 6 days) and in the NICU at BC Women's Hospital.
- Your baby does not have any birth defects.
- Your baby was not born too small for their gestational age.
- The birthing parent did not use drugs (other than prescribed) during pregnancy.
- Your baby does not have a current infection or need heart medication.
- Your baby has not had a major brain injury (like bleeding or stroke).
