Who can take part
- Your baby was born early between 25 weeks and 32 weeks + 6 days, or at full term between 39 and 41 weeks
- For preterm babies: the study happens around near 36 weeks corrected age
- For full-term babies: by day 3 of life, your baby’s heart/well-being score (Apgar at 1 minute) is at least 1
- Your baby has a normal neurologic (brain/nervous system) exam
- A parent/guardian can give written consent for the study
- Your baby has no major birth problems, chromosome differences, or severe neurologic conditions
