Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are currently in the hospital (not coming in just for the test).
  • You are scheduled for a colonoscopy to remove growths, take tissue samples, or treat something.
  • You have been in the hospital at least 2 days before the colonoscopy.
  • You or a family member can understand and sign a consent form.
  • You can follow instructions for cleaning your bowel, with help if needed.
