Who can take part

  • Your child must be able to tell us how much pain they feel.
  • Your child must have cancer and have nerve pain (ongoing or sudden).
  • Your child cannot have a pacemaker, insulin pump, or other implanted device.
  • Your child cannot have epilepsy or seizures.
  • Your child cannot be pregnant.
  • Your child must not have had a heart attack or serious heart disease in the last 6 months.
  • Your child must not have severe heart rhythm problems.
  • Your child must not have open wounds or infections where the device pads go.
  • Your child must not have had a bad reaction to electrical nerve stimulation before.
