Who can take part

  • You must be male and married (or have been married before).
  • You either have decompensated chronic liver disease and are on the waitlist for a liver transplant, or you have already received a liver transplant and your new liver is working well.
  • You cannot have any serious ongoing medical or surgical problems (like bile duct issues or complications with your liver graft).
  • You must not have acute-on-chronic liver failure or acute liver failure.
  • You must agree to participate and give your consent.
