Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older.
- You have a type of esophageal cancer called squamous cell carcinoma that was stage T1-4aN1-3M0 or T3-4aN0M0 when first diagnosed.
- You have already completed 2 rounds of chemotherapy plus immunotherapy before surgery, and scans show the cancer did not shrink or grow (stable disease).
- You are in good enough health to perform daily activities (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- Your blood counts, kidney, and liver function must meet certain levels within the 2 weeks before starting.
- You must provide tumor tissue and blood samples for testing.
