New ultrasound methods for diagnosing pancreatic tumors

This study tests two new ultrasound techniques to better tell apart pancreatic cancer from other solid growths in the pancreas. If you have a solid pancreas mass, the results could help doctors choose the most appropriate treatment without unnecessary surgery.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older
  • You have a solid (or mostly solid) lump in the pancreas found by a doctor
  • You understand and speak French well enough to give permission and talk to the team
  • You are covered by French Social Security or similar health coverage
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and do not have certain genetic conditions (like MEN1)
