Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for an endoscopic ultrasound (a scope with ultrasound) to check a pancreatic cyst called a PIMPT.
  • The cyst must have material inside it that is at least 3 millimeters (about 1/8 inch) and whose nature is not yet known.
  • You must be covered by French social security and speak French.
  • You must be able to give your informed consent to join the study.
  • You should not have signs of cancer (such as a solid mass, spread to other organs, or fluid in the belly) or be pregnant.
