Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a broken cheekbone that has been confirmed by X-ray or CT scan.
  • You must be healthy enough for general anesthesia and able to have a CT scan.
  • You must be willing to sign a consent form.
  • You cannot have conditions that make bone healing poor, like osteoporosis or cancer, or be on long-term steroids.
  • You must be able to attend follow-up visits and follow instructions.
