Who can take part

  • You must have stable liver disease caused by hepatitis, alcohol, autoimmune hepatitis, or another condition, and it must be mild, moderate, or severe (Child-Pugh A, B, or C).
  • Your weight must be between certain ranges, and your body mass index (BMI) must be between 18 and 30.
  • You must agree to use effective birth control during the study and for 3 months after, if you are able to have children.
  • Your blood counts and liver tests must be within specific limits, and you cannot have certain serious liver complications like active bleeding, severe ascites, or a liver transplant.
  • You cannot have used certain medications, supplements, or alcohol within specific timeframes before the study.
