Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 65 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with chronic hepatitis B (HBsAg positive for at least 6 months).
- You have been taking a single antiviral medication (one of tenofovir, entecavir, or similar) for at least 6 months and your HBV DNA is very low (less than 100 IU/mL).
- Your hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) test is negative.
- Your HBsAg level is between 0.05 and 100 IU/mL.
- Your liver enzymes (ALT and AST) are no more than twice the normal range, and you don't have other significant liver or health problems.
