Who can take part

  • You are an adult who can understand and agree to the study rules.
  • You are taking a standard hepatitis B pill (like entecavir or tenofovir) and have been for at least 6 months.
  • Your hepatitis B virus level is low (below 90 IU/mL).
  • Your liver tests (ALT, AST) are not too high (no more than 2 times the normal upper limit).
  • Your kidneys are working well (confirmed by a blood test).
  • You do not have severe liver scarring (cirrhosis) or liver failure.
