  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have severe obesity (Class II with related health problems or Class III).
  • You are scheduled for weight-loss (bariatric) surgery under general anesthesia.
  • You do not have severe lung, heart, liver, or kidney disease.
  • You are not allergic to the anesthesia drugs used in this study.
