Agitation Associated With Alzheimer's Disease Dementia

This trial tests two new drugs (EXV-802 and EXV-801) to see if they can safely reduce moderate to severe agitation in people with Alzheimer's dementia. If you or a loved one has Alzheimer's and has been experiencing significant agitation for at least two weeks, this study may be an option.

  • Be between 55 and 90 years old
  • Have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's dementia
  • Experience moderate to severe agitation that has lasted at least 2 weeks
  • Have a caregiver who can spend at least 2 hours a day with you on 4 or more days each week
  • Be able to walk on your own or with a walker or wheelchair
