Who can take part
- You must have been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis (scarring of the liver).
- You must be between 18 and 84 years old.
- You must be able to have an MRI (no metal implants, pacemaker, or severe claustrophobia).
- You cannot be pregnant.
- You cannot have certain other liver conditions like primary sclerosing cholangitis (a bile duct disease) or congenital liver fibrosis.
- You cannot have had a liver transplant or a previous diagnosis of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma).
