Who can take part

  • You are between 30 and 60 years old.
  • You have a lumbar disc herniation that is in the 'protrusion' stage (the disc bulges but is not fully ruptured).
  • You have been in pain for at least 3 months and rate your pain as 6 or more on a 0-10 scale.
  • You have not had back surgery, are not pregnant, and have no recent cancer, fractures, or other spine conditions (like infection, osteoporosis, or ankylosing spondylitis).
  • You have not had physical therapy for low back pain in the last 6 months, and you do not have neurological, rheumatological, or psychological disorders.
